پترو فلات توربین فعالیت خود را با تاسیس شرکت در فروردین ماه سال 1391 با هدف استفاده بهینه از توان مهندسان جوان ایرانی در پروژه‌های رو به رشد صنعت نفت و گاز شروع کرد.
تکیه‌گاه اصلی این شرکت از ابتدا دانش فنی مدیران و مهندسین باتجربه و پرتلاش و انگیزه جوانان این مرز و بوم بوده و از همان بدو شکل‌گیری به دنبال انتقال دانش فنی و دستاوردهای شرکت‌های صاحب‌نام بین‌المللی جهت بهره‌گیری در صنایع داخل بوده است.
احساس نیاز به تجربه‌اندوزی، مدیران شرکت را بر آن داشت تا فعالیت‌های حیاتی، اعم از خدمات مشاوره مهندسی و بازرگانی را در کشورهای صاحب نام و در حال توسعه ای که با صنایع رو به رشد نفت و گاز روبهرو هستند، متمرکز نمود تا علاوه بر صدور خدمات مهندسی، کسب دانش فنی نیز با همکاری متقابل با شرکت‌های فعال در پروژه‌های نفت و گاز منطقه (مهندسی معکوس)، حاصل گردد.
